Differences Between Street Goblin and the All Terrain Goblin

*** Note: The Goblin AT was discontinued at the start of 2022. We no longer have the necessary components in stock to produce an AT kit or an AT chassis. We do not plan to offer the Goblin AT again ***

There were quite a few difference between the Street Goblin and the All Terrain Goblin:

  • The radiator was swapped for a larger unit
  • The radiator was mounted at the back of the car because it is very vulnerable where it is on the street version if you start climbing up terrain
  • The front control arms were modified to provide more ground clearance
  • The front shock mounts were gusseted
  • The front portion of the cage had extra braces welded in
  • The front shocks and springs were swapped for a longer travel setup
  • The rear cage had extra gussets and a strut support brace all the way across the top bar
  • The rear strut mounts were twice as thick
  • The standard rear coilovers were replaced with longer heavier coilovers to handle off road terrain better
  • The floor pan was swapped from 0.040 6061 to 0.080 6061
  • Front and rear bumpers were supplied and mounts on the chassis were welded on to receive the bumpers
  • Kick rails were supplied and mounts on the chassis were welded on to receive the kick rails

If you were interested in adapting a street Goblin to being an AT, the only easy change you could make is to run larger tires. The rest would require custom fab work from you or a shop near you. With larger tires, you would likely be able to take on rough gravel roads and very light off road trails but the ground clearance would still be limited, you wouldn't have any extra suspension travel, and the suspension components wouldn't be as sturdy as the AT Goblin without the gussets and thicker parts.
